They are seeking an Internal Sales Associate responsible for driving sales by marketing fixed and fixed indexed annuities and cultivating relationships with agents.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain an ongoing relationship with Agents, with the common goal of increasing the company's share of annuity business within an assigned regionConduct proactive outbound calls to new and existing producers and field inbound calls on a range of sales/service topics (minimum 55 calls per day outbound/inbound)Create and update illustrations as requested by Agents and staffDocument all proactive activity and inbound inquiries in the CRM system (Salesforce), i.e., thank you calls, tasks lists, call campaigns, etcParticipate actively in the development and successful execution of the territory business planAct as subject matter expert for the annuity solutions offered by OVLACArticulate competitive product positioning opportunities and threats to distributionProductively work with other home office departments, managers, and internal associates to effectively service relationshipsDemonstrate excellent listening skills to assess needs and determine the type of sales support necessary to accomplish the objective, adding value to the products, service, and sales support deliveredKeep management informed of any concerns for meeting set goals, clarifying duties, and training development needs that result in greater performance and personal growthPerform other job-related duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's Degree preferredExperience in the Financial Services industry is a plusA strong desire to be a contributor to the success of a teamProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Internet and contact management systems (Salesforce)Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both oral and writtenAttention to detail to ensure the accuracy of reports, correspondence, and databaseAbility to handle multiple projects and adapt to an ever-changing environmentExceptional verbal and written communication abilitiesBenefitsOpportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensationCompany OverviewAt Oceanview Life and Annuity Company, we believe your journey toward a financially secure retirement should be straightforward and supported by a trusted partner.
