Our team is passionate about creating clean, scalable, and conversion-focused e-commerce solutions. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer to on a project-by-project basis, with potential for increased hours and long-term collaboration.Job Overview We’re seeking a skilled Shopify Developer who can take on projects as they come in. For each project, you’ll review the scope, provide a detailed time estimate, and once approved, get to work building or customizing Shopify sites to meet client goals. We understand that timelines can change, so we value open communication and flexibility throughout the process. Responsibilities • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores. • Implement responsive, high-performance themes and custom features.• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and custom functionality. • Work collaboratively with our design and client success teams. • Provide accurate time estimates and communicate any necessary adjustments. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Requirements • 3+ years of professional experience in Shopify development (Shopify Plus preferred). • Strong skills in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and theme customization. • Experience with app integrations and Shopify APIs. • Familiarity with version control (Git) and standard development workflows.• Excellent communication and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and deliver quality results on schedule. Nice to Have • Experience with headless Shopify builds or advanced custom integrations. • Background in e-commerce optimization or UX strategy. • Familiarity with Figma, Trello, or Asana. CompensationThis is a project-based contract position. You’ll provide time estimates for each project, and once approved, development will begin. Payment is based on the agreed-upon project scope and rate.As new projects come in, there will be ongoing opportunities for additional work. Please submit your portfolio or examples of Shopify stores you’ve developed, along with your hourly or project rate and current availability.
