Responsibilities:
ā¢ Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' needs.
ā¢ Adapt general education curriculum to accommodate various learning styles.
ā¢ Provide direct instruction in small groups and one-on-one settings.
ā¢ Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student success.
ā¢ Utilize assessments and data to track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
ā¢ Create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
ā¢ Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
ā¢ Valid Missouri teaching certification in Special Education.
ā¢ Experience working with students with disabilities (preferred but not required).
ā¢ Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
ā¢ Passion for supporting student development and success.
