Duties & Responsibilities:
Sorting and categorizing items according to their size, weight, and fragility facilitates efficient packing and loading onto shipping vehicles
Take advantage of innovative tools like smartphones and hand-held devices to categorize, examine, and collate orders
It is imperative to build, encase, sort, and transfer skids and parcels
Handle and transfer lightweight packages up to 49 lbs
Receive truck deliveries
Screen prompts can be particularly helpful for users with visual or hearing impairments, as they can rely on the screen to provide clear and easy-to-understand instructions
Your shifts are made up of standing tall, walking briskly, pushing with vigor, pulling with might, squatting low, bending your knees, and reaching far
To move items with ease, consider using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear
Traverse up and down staircases (as needed)
Accomplish job responsibilities at an altitude of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine, if eligible
