The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Solutions Trainer (CDI/ Coding) you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. The person hired for the position of Solutions Trainer (CDI/Coding) will engage with our customers both remotely and onsite to facilitate training for our 3M HIS software customers. Here, you will make an impact by:
• Introduction, demonstration, and training our customers on Solventumā„¢ 360 Encompassā„¢ and associated Revenue Cycle products, incorporating blended Learning & adult learning concepts.
• Delivery of live classroom - and web- based training, as well as contribution to asynchronous training
• Participate in project implementations with pre and post go live participation with key project stakeholders.
• May serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME), mentor and contributor to internal Solventum HIS teams, such as Implementations, Support, Documentation, Instructional Design, or others as designated.
• Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with Solventum values and ethical standards.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start) and five (5) years of relevant training experience or High School and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant training experience training healthcare professionals, in lieu of the bachelor’s degree education requirement.
• Registered Nurse (RN), or RHIA/RHIT Certification
• Minimum Five (5) yrs. Experience as Clinical Documentation Specialist and/or 5 years recent Inpatient/outpatient coding, ICD-10-CM, PCS, CPT

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently in a multi-task environment, effective written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Master’s degree with focus on Health Care: Health Information Management, Public Health, Business
• CCDS, CCS or CDIP Certifications
• Experience with Solventumā„¢ 360 Encompassā„¢
• Experienced using the Solventumā„¢ Coding and Reimbursement System (CRS)
• Healthcare Training related Experience
• 3 (+) yrs. Health Information Management

Travel: May include up to 50% domestic

Onboarding Requirement: To improve the onboarding experience, you will have an opportunity to meet with your manager and other new employees as part of the Solventum new employee orientation. As a result, new employees hired for this position will be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days of employment. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be coordinated and paid for by the company in accordance with its travel policy. Applies to new hires with a start date of October 1st 2025 or later.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
