New Era Technology offers: · Full Benefits · Medical · Dental · Vision · 401K match · 28 PTO Days including company holidays Summary: As a presales Solutions Architect for ITMS and Managed Services, this individual will be responsible for designing and quoting managed service solutions for our mid-market customers. Working closely with our Account Executives, this individual will meet with customers to discuss their business needs, provide an overview of the New Era managed services practice, and align those needs with a managed services quote. Requirements: Strong knowledge in managed services components including, but not limited to, desktop/servers, network infrastructure, firewalls, and unified communications. Experience presenting and quoting some (or all) of the following: N-central Auvik SolarWinds Lifecycle Manager SentinelOne KnowBe4 Cisco Umbrella Proofpoint Datto Backup Datto SaaS Duo Keeper Security The ability to properly build quotes and properly account for costs/prices when quoting. Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and other office applications. The ability to work in a collaborative environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of experience in a presales or technical consulting role, with a focus on ITMS and Managed Services. Manufacturer certifications for the technologies listed above are encouraged but not required. Primary Duties: Working closely with sales to help sell ITMS and managed service solutions provided by New Era. Building presentations, quotes, and proposals. Staying updated on the latest technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings. RFP/RFI responses. Working as the SME for all ITMS and Managed Services related offerings. Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in Physical Demands: - Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer. - Occasional lifting of objects, not exceeding 20 pounds. - Limited standing or walking required. Work Environment: This role requires a reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace to ensure productivity and effective communication with customers and team members. Remote position with ability to attend on-site team or client meetings and business engagements. While working remotely, employees are expected to adhere to company policies and maintain a professional and secure work environment. Expected Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm EST with 1-hour unpaid lunchbreak (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week). Travel: Travel may be required for on-site team and client meetings and working sessions with the client. All other work will be performed remotely unless required to be onsite by the team/client needs.
