SolidWorks Mechanical Engineer for Sheet Metal Design
We are seeking an experienced SolidWorks mechanical engineer with a strong focus on sheet metal design. (Off road vehicle)The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating fabrication-ready drawings and may be conducting reverse engineering from 3D scan data.(possibly) A solid understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles is essential. You will work closely with our team to develop high-quality designs that meet our specifications and timelines. Most of the work will be to start from our hand sketch drawings to real parts, 80% of parts to be created will be sheet metal. From sldprt, to dxf for laser cut. also definition drawings for bend parts will be required. All those parts as they are created will have to be part of a complete assembly (3D).
