Software Test Engineer (Remote) - El Segundo, CA - Colorado Springs, CO

Job Description: GreenDart is seeking a detail-oriented and methodical Software Tester to work closely with the infrastructure maintenance analyst. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating software applications to ensure they meet both functional and technical requirements. As a Software Tester, you will work closely with business and operational teams to ensure the products meet the needs of the customers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, troubleshooting ability, and strong collaboration skills. Active CBP-BI is highly desirable. Job Requirements: • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases • Execute manual and automated tests to identify software issues • Document, track, and report bugs using issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira) • Develop applicable processes and procedures. • Perform regression, functional, integration testing Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) • 5+ years of experience in software testing • Familiarity with software testing life cycle and various types of testing (e.g., functional, regression, system, UAT) • Knowledge of manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) • Basic understanding of SQL and experience in database testing • Experience using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Attention to detail and organizational skills Nice If You Have: • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies • Programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, Java, C#) • Experience in performance and/or security testing Salary Range: $110,000 - $150,000 Location: El Segundo, CA or Colorado Springs, CO Travel: Travel may be required to various sites located across the United States.
