Software Quality Analyst/Tester - GC or US Citizen.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Analyst/Sr Tester to join our innovative Supply chain Management with E-Commerce testing team. • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scripts for functional, regression, system, and performance testing of web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual testing as well as automate tests using tools like AS400, SAP, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, and other automation frameworks to improve efficiency.
• Conduct mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms to verify app functionality, usability, and performance across different devices.
• Validate APIs and web services using RESTful API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI; analyze API responses for correctness and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to understand requirements, identify root causes of issues through root cause analysis techniques, and troubleshoot software defects effectively.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including requirements gathering, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure quality is integrated throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Support release management by performing user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and ensuring smooth deployment processes with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance with a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, SQL/PL-SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle), and data analysis skills for troubleshooting issues.
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab; familiarity with SVN or TFS is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical skills for root cause analysis; strong attention to detail in creating test cases and documenting defects clearly.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of business analysis principles is beneficial.
