Software Engineering Line Manager (Remote)
Our customer is hiring a Software Engineering Line Manager ā with at least 3-5 years of experience leading cross-functional software engineering teams in BI, Data Science, EDW Engineering, or Data Integration. This is a contract-based position (1 year) with the possibility of extension. Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico, United States or Central America; experience in telecommunications (Telco) companies is highly preferred.
Requirements
ā¢ Proven experience providing strategic leadership to cross-functional software engineering teams.
ā¢ Strong understanding of BI, Data Science, EDW Engineering, and Data Integration concepts and best practices.
ā¢ Experience aligning technical solutions with enterprise data strategy and customer objectives.
ā¢ Ability to manage, mentor, and develop engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
ā¢ Familiarity with project management methodologies and agile development processes.
ā¢ Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
ā¢ Advanced degrees or certifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields are highly desirable.
ā¢ Experience in the Telco industry is a strong plus.
