Position SummaryThe Web Content & Digital Merchandising Lead is responsible for overseeing website content strategy, execution, and digital merchandising to drive conversion, engagement, and revenue growth. This role combines creative storytelling with data-driven merchandising to ensure the site delivers a compelling, on-brand, and optimized shopping experience.Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Content Strategy & ExecutionOwn and manage all website content including homepage, landing pages, product descriptions, and campaign pagesDevelop and execute content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and product launchesEnsure brand voice, tone, and visual consistency across all digital touchpointsPartner with creative, marketing, and product teams to produce engaging contentDigital MerchandisingManage site merchandising including product placement, categorization, and collection curationOptimize product sorting, filters, and on-site search to improve user experience and conversionMonitor inventory levels and adjust merchandising strategies accordinglyLaunch and maintain promotional campaigns, pricing updates, and featured assortmentsPerformance & OptimizationAnalyze site metrics (conversion rate, AOV, bounce rate, engagement) to inform decisionsConduct A/B testing on content, layouts, and merchandising strategiesIdentify opportunities to improve the customer journey and checkout funnelLeverage data insights to continuously refine site performanceCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with marketing, operations, and customer experience teams to align prioritiesCoordinate with developers or platform partners for site updates and enhancementsSupport email, paid media, and social campaigns with aligned site contentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)3–5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or web content managementExperience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar)Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices and customer journey optimizationProficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)Experience with CMS tools and basic HTML/CSS is a plusKey SkillsStrategic thinking with strong execution skillsData-driven decision makingStrong visual and content merchandising instinctsAttention to detail and organizationAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesCollaborative and cross-functional communicationWork EnvironmentFast-paced, collaborative environment focused on growth and innovationMix of creative and analytical work
