JOB DESCRIPTION:
ā¢ Consult with engineering team and implement the technology necessary to keep the automation framework in line with the development of the product.
ā¢ Develop and improve robust test automation framework. Ensure the framework works in conjunction with the Quality Management system as well as provides strong and quick feedback for Agile development. Ensure the framework covers functional, end to end, compatibility and use case scenarios. This will also require working with DevOps and other teams to integrate test automation with build systems, test management system, and device cloud.
ā¢ Mentor and provide day to day guidance to the junior members of the software test team. Review work to ensure compliance and quality
ā¢ Develop software test tools as necessary to support test team
ā¢ Provide feedback and suggest improvements to the Agile SDLC process
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING
Required
ā¢ Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline.
ā¢ 8 years' experience in Software Testing and/or Software Quality Assurance.
ā¢ 5 years' experience working as Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
ā¢ Moderate knowledge in modern programming languages such as Java or Python & Agile methodologies
ā¢ Moderate level of understanding of test-driven methodologies
ā¢ Moderate level of knowledge with continuous integration & continuous development (CI/CD)
ā¢ Demonstrated success in technical proficiency, creativity, and independent thought
ā¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
ā¢ Moderate level understanding of design patterns
ā¢ Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
ā¢ Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
