In this role, you will work on the payments platform team as well as with product teams consisting of talented and motivated individuals who are passionate about developing high quality software products that engage users and enable them to work efficiently. The Software Engineer III – Payments has acquired technical knowledge, analytical, and problem-solving skills in more than one area of development and is able to show flexibility in the tasks that they perform. The ideal candidate is collaborative, curious, creative, versatile, organized, and is intrinsically motivated to continuously improve themselves and others around them. As Payments is an ever evolving space, the ideal candidate with either have 3-5 years of experience building scalable payments solutions. In collaboration with the development team this individual will implement payments features, highlighting Nextech’s innovative approach to payments solutions. Essential SkillsDevelop Full Stack Applications: Build software in a SCRUM environment using C#, JavaScript, SQL, and JavaScript/Typescript frameworks like Angular. Prior knowledge of C++ is also beneficial.Embrace Best Practices: Consistently apply best practices in software development, including Code Reviews, Unit Tests, and CI/CD processes, leveraging them every day to ensure high-quality code.Perform Code Reviews: Conduct mutual code reviews within your team to maintain high standards and ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase.Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with teams, scrum masters, and product owners to align development efforts with project goals and timelines.Action-Oriented Development: Quickly translate ideas into actionable implementations, demonstrating the ability to move swiftly from concept to execution.Strong Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate with team members.Creative Problem Solving: Provide innovative and creative solutions to complex and challenging problems, ensuring the development of effective and efficient software solutions.Payments Expertise: Integrate and optimize the payments system within healthcare platforms and third-party services, addressing and resolving technical challenges to ensure performance and security.Scalable Development: Ensure the development of scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems capable of handling high transaction volumes, with a passion for excellence in software development.Minimum RequirementsSolid experience developing Angular 14+ applications. Solid experience developing in C# and .Net Framework. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and related web design tools. Extensive experience with RESTful API design and implementation. Strong understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
