Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented Software Engineer to join our Swedish R&D team in Skellefteå.Are you passionate about data security and privacy? Protegrity is looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will work alongside other software engineers to design, build and maintain functionality that ensures data security and privacy. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teammates daily to enable progress toward team goals.
Develop new functionality that will be used by other development teams in the organization. The implementation languages used are mainly Go, java and C/C++.
Enable deployment on our product offering on the Cloud.
Automate execution of unit tests and integration tests.
Participate in scrum ceremonies and processes, prioritizing team progress and flow.
Conduct constructive code reviews, driving grown in yourself and others.
Cooperate with colleagues at other geographical locations to make sure that the functionality is as per their specifications and need. Qualifications:
MSc/BSc degree and/or hands-on relevant experience.
2-4 years of experience in software development.
Strong programming skills in Java, Go or C/C++.
Speak and write English fluently.
Work experience in Linux and scripting languages (shell, perl, python).
Experience of implementing microservices and REST API’s.
Container technology knowledge – docker, podman, kubernetes.
Cloud experience from at least one major cloud vendor such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
Experience of developing multithreaded programs for systems with multi-CPU architecture.
Strong problem-solving skills.
A collaborative mindset to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
Strong communication skills to articulate architecture and functional concepts to diverse audiences.
A commitment to continuous learning and an interest in emerging Cloud technologies. Working Model:
This role is available as hybrid-based and would generally require you to attend on-site 2-3 days per week based on business needs. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
