Interview Process Note: The interview process requires an onsite interview in our Chicago office. Qualifications/Competencies for Success: Degree in computer science, software engineering, or related fieldMinimum of five to seven (5 – 7) years of professional web development experienceProficiency in .NET core development framework for building modern applicationsDemonstrated ability to produce clean, efficient code in C#, JavaScript, etc.Expertise in SQL database design, queries, T-SQL stored procedures, & triggersKnowledge and experience in building and consuming Web APIStrong knowledge and experience in designing robust and scalable software applicationsWork experience with client-side and server-side web applications frameworksAbility to understand user needs and create exceptional user interfaces and experiencesAbility and willingness to take full ownership of assigned tasks and solutions (design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, iterate)Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with usersAbility and desire to work within a collaborative IT teamExperience with third-party component technologies such as Telerik, Infragistics, SpreadSheetGear, GemBox, and Bootstrap, Sync FusionExperience with desktop application developmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with users and stakeholdersProactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in driving projects forward and delivering high-quality solutionsExperience in supporting and maintaining business critical applicationsKnowledge of Azure would be a plusMicrosoft Blazor knowledge would be a plusPrior experience with financial applications and statistics is a plus The starting salary offer will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan, which includes a target bonus of $0 - 15,000.
