Software Developer & System Administrator - Hybrid Remote Opportunity

At VetsEZ, we're looking for a talented Software Developer & System Administrator to design, code, test, debug, and document software in various programming languages. The ideal candidate will have experience upgrading and troubleshooting issues with Cache/Ensemble/IRIS and be residing within the continental US.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop strategies for IT systems and applications
Design, develop, and update Cache/Ensemble/IRIS applications
Ensure database compatibility between versions
Migrate legacy applications from on-premise environments to the cloud
Combine, migrate, forecast development, and manage large-scale databases
Research and recommend approved VA COTS solutions
Utilize Cache and IRIS database DBA experience, including connectivity (ODBC) and integration with other systems
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or technical discipline
At least 5 years of experience in software development
Experience with Cache/Ensemble/IRIS, Intersystems USR, IRIS, Objectscript, and XSLT Development
Experience with interface protocols such as REST and SOAP
Experience migrating from older Intersystems Healthshare systems to newer ones
Database design knowledge and experience with modern software development and DevOps tools, including GitHub and implementation of a DevOps pipeline in a cloud environment
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in the VA (Department of Veterans Affairs) or other health-related organizations is desirable
Familiarity with Community Care products and COTS products, such as DAPER, TeleForm, MOVEit, ODM, and RightFax
Experience with ePASS and NMEA, as well as SAFe, Jira, and ServiceNow, is preferred
Ability to obtain a government clearance
