Software Developer (.NET) Remote | Full-Time About the Role We’re looking for a Software Developer (.NET) to help build, enhance, and support ProHome’s proprietary software platform. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and both internal and external users to design scalable solutions, deliver high-quality code, and continuously improve the user experience. You’ll be part of an agile development environment where ownership, collaboration, and problem-solving are valued. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on development with troubleshooting, documentation, and user support. What You’ll Do: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web and mobile applications using C# and .NET. Translate business and technical requirements into well-structured development plans. Write clean, efficient, unit-tested code following modern development best practices. Enhance and support existing applications and introduce new features and improvements. Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and timely delivery of assigned work. Perform functional and non-functional testing to ensure performance, quality, and scalability. Create and maintain technical and user-facing documentation. Support beta testing, user acceptance testing, and software releases. Provide Tier 1 technical support using a ticketing system and ensure timely issue resolution. Assist with training internal and external users on new systems and features. Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and overall platform performance. This role may evolve as business needs change. What You’ll Bring: Required Experience & Skills: 2+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET. 2+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core , Entity Framework Core , and SQL Server. 2+ years of experience developing web applications. Experience with version control tools (Git). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Passion for writing readable, maintainable, low-defect code. Nice to Have: Experience developing or supporting mobile applications. Experience with Angular or similar front-end frameworks. Working knowledge of SharePoint and OneDrive. Background in IT helpdesk or end-user support environments. Experience supporting Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and mobile devices (Apple & Android). Understanding of application security and best practices. Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually (paid bi-weekly). Paid Time Off (PTO) and sick time.
