Associate Engineer

In this role, you will work within a cross-functional team to design and implement projects focused on process design and deployment for innovation and productivity, ensuring a consumer-centric approach.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement projects in line with R&D, marketing and manufacturing requirementsEffectively communicate project statuses and risksConduct activities to generate the appropriate process information, using modelling, simulations, and pilot plant and plant trials in accordance with good manufacturing practices and HACCP requirementsPlan and conduct process development activities including process design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning, technical risk assessments and create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specificationsAssist in planning the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies, and manage stakeholders, making recommendations and influencing decisions based on analysis and interpretation of dataCreate intellectual property to drive competitive advantageSkillsRelevant engineering experience, ideally within a fast-moving consumer goods environmentWorking in teams and independently with appropriate guidancePrioritizing and managing activitiesIdentifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutionsApplying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyze data and to reach clear conclusionsCommunicating technical information effectively verbally and in writingConstantly championing for the consumerTechnical curiosity, continuous learner and a drive to ensure technical rigorBachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent fieldUp to 40% travel within the United States, Canada, and MexicoBenefitsHealth insuranceWellness and family support programsLife and disability insuranceRetirement savings plansPaid leave programsEducation related programsPaid holidays and vacation timeCompany OverviewMondelēz International, Inc.
