About the position Responsibilities • Monitor social media posts of youth for suicidal ideation and self-harm risks. • Provide empathetic support and compassionate listening to youth in crisis via direct messages. • Communicate interventions with Lines for Life's internal YouthLine team members. • Consult with YouthLine supervisory and clinical leadership for support in crisis situations. • Prepare accurate and timely reports on social media conversations and interventions. • Collect and analyze data related to youth interactions on social media to identify trends. • Regularly update data collection tools and evaluate outcomes of contacts through risk and safety matrices. • Engage in program development through special projects and research. • Integrate AI technology into protocols and reporting. • Identify additional social media platforms for youth support. • Complete YouthLine projects as agreed with supervisor. • Attend mandatory trainings to stay updated on best practices. • Participate in individual supervision and team meetings.
