Social Media Coordinator (Instagram Reels) + Wix + Email Marketing (Part-Time, Remote)

Company: Divine Mama Strength (Austin, TX) Job Type: Part-time | Freelance / Hourly Contract Location: Remote (Austin-area is a bonus, not required) Hours: 5–10 hours/week to start (potential to grow) Pay: $500/month retainer or hourly with set monthly hours (based on experience) Role Overview We’re hiring a reliable, creative freelance Social Media + Marketing Assistant to help us consistently create and publish Instagram content (Reels + posts), support updates to our Wix website, and set up simple email automations to nurture leads and support clients. This is an hourly contract role, ideal for someone who enjoys both creative content work and light marketing systems. Responsibilities Instagram (Primary) • Edit and publish Instagram Reels (short-form video editing, captions, on-screen text) • Create and schedule feed posts (Reels, carousels, graphics) • Organize content into a simple weekly/monthly content calendar • Repurpose content across formats (Reel → carousel → story → email snippet) • Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and visual style Wix Website Support • Update Wix pages (copy, images, links, forms, layout) • Create or refresh landing pages for offers, workshops, and lead magnets • Basic SEO updates (page titles, meta descriptions, mobile-friendly formatting) • Support user experience and website flow improvements Email Funnel + Automations • Set up basic email sequences for leads and clients (welcome, nurture, follow-up) • Connect forms to email lists and automation triggers • Light copywriting/editing to match the brand voice Weekly Deliverables (Example) • 2–4 Reels edited and scheduled • 1–2 feed posts or carousels • 1 batch of Wix updates (as needed) • Email funnel improvements and automation support (as needed) Requirements • Experience editing Instagram Reels and creating engaging short-form storytelling • Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, and content structure • Comfortable working independently and meeting weekly deadlines • Experience with Wix (or ability to learn quickly) • Familiarity with Wix Email Marketing and/or email automation tools • Must have an iCloud account/Apple ID to collaborate via shared iPhone photo/video albums • Strong proofreading skills and attention to brand consistency Nice to Have • Canva skills • Fitness or women’s health content experience (prenatal/postpartum/IVF is a plus) • Basic marketing strategy and analytics understanding Benefits/Perks • Flexible schedule + remote freelance work • Opportunity to grow with a mission-driven women’s fitness brand • Up to 4 free 1:1 private training sessions each month (or service swaps, if preferred) • Access to the studio during business hours when it’s not in use • Direct mentorship from the founder (former Fortune 500 marketing executive) with opportunities to learn strategy, messaging, and content marketing How to Apply Please submit the following: • A short intro and why you’re interested in this role • Links to 2–5 examples of Reels/posts you’ve created from scratch (include captions/hooks and results if available) • A brief note on your experience working remotely: what worked well, what didn’t, and how you stay organized/communicate • Your general availability (including any days/times you’re not available) • Your working style (independent vs. collaborative, preferred communication, turnaround times) • Your rate • Your long-term career goals and what you’re hoping to grow in next • 2–3 quick ideas you’d improve or test for our Instagram and/or Wix website • Two past work references (name + role/company + email/phone) Optional: Share any Wix work or email automation examples (Flodesk/Mailchimp/ConvertKit/Wix Email Marketing, etc.) To help us filter applicants, include the word “DIVINEWOMEN” in your message.
