Social Media content creator & support specialist (freelance/part‑time, fixed‑term)
PeaceWomen Across the Globe (PWAG) is an international feminist peacebuilding organisation based in Bern, Switzerland. Our team is looking for a social media specialist with tried-and-tested experience in creating attractive content and in developing social media strategies for political campaigns in Switzerland. We are looking for someone who shares our feminist values and is willing to share their knowledge and insights with us to support our efforts to reach audiences in Switzerland and internationally. The work will mainly be remote, but occasional visits to the office in Bern would be ideal. The expected duration of the collaboration is April to the end of October 2026 (extension to December to be discussed).
Deliverables:
In close collaboration with PeaceWomen Across the Globe’s communication and network & advocacy teams:
• Support the creation, strategy and implementation of a political campaign (content will be provided and close coordination with external actors is expected) (time frame: April-June)
• Create content, mentor and support PWAG staff on effective social media communication and marketing (time frame: spring-autumn)
• Support social media activities for an event in October
What we are looking for:
• Proven track record of social media work and political campaigning in Switzerland
• Excellent command of English and German, professional working proficiency in French (Spanish is a plus)
• Strong alignment with PWAG’s values and principles
What we offer:
Support feminist causes, work independently as a part of a dedicated and enthusiastic feminist team and the ability to work remotely,
Our budget for this assignment is CHF 5,000.
Start: Mid-March/beginning of April 2026
End: The end of October. Possibly until mid-November/mid-December upon mutual agreement.
