Following the recent launch of our Shopify Plus e-commerce platform, we’re looking for an experienced developer/designer to help us scale our digital presence, enhance user experience, and develop custom solutions that simplify the buying process. Role Overview We’re seeking a highly skilled Shopify Plus Developer/Designer who brings a strong blend of back-end development expertise and front-end design sensibility. You’ll be responsible for developing custom features, refining UX/UI, and optimizing site performance to support our growth and brand evolution. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement custom Shopify Plus features and enhancements • Optimize website speed, performance, and responsiveness • Design and apply modern, conversion-driven UI/UX in Figma • Build and maintain custom apps, integrations, and scripts • Support A/B testing, conversion funnel improvements, and SEO initiatives • Troubleshoot issues and deploy real-time fixes with minimal downtime Required Qualifications • 3+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience (including Shopify Plus) • Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs • Proven experience with third-party app integrations and custom Shopify apps • Strong portfolio showcasing Shopify design work (must have served as lead or sole designer) • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical field • Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines • At least one year of experience working with a Fortune 500 company Preferred Qualifications • Based in or near Dallas/Austin, TX; San Francisco, CA; Boston, MA; or Seattle, WA • Background in B2B, large e-commerce product catalogs (100k+ products) • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools • Familiarity with AI/ML integration or coding experience, especially in e-commerce applications (e.g., chatbots, product recommendations, personalization tools) What We Offer • Flexible remote work (10–20 hours/week to start, with room for growth) • The opportunity to lead technical direction on a high-impact e-commerce platform • A collaborative, fast-moving team passionate about innovation in the foodservice industry • Potential equity for long-term contributors who demonstrate impact and commitment Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week Compensation Package: • 1099 contract Schedule: • Choose your own hours Work Location: Remote Apply Job!
