Shopify & Pinterest Tag Audit Specialist
We're seeking an experienced freelancer to conduct a thorough audit of our existing Pinterest tag (pixel) setup on our Shopify store. Our tags are already implemented, but we have some uncertainties and want to ensure everything is working optimally for accurate tracking and ad performance.
What We Need
We need an expert to:
ā¢ Audit Existing Pinterest Tag Implementation: Review our current Pinterest tag setup on Shopify, including the base tag and all event tags.
ā¢ Verify Event Accuracy: Confirm that all key events (e.g., PageView, AddToCart, Checkout, Purchase, ProductView) are firing correctly and capturing the right data.
ā¢ Check Dynamic Parameter Pass-Through: Ensure that dynamic values (like product ID, price, currency, quantity) are being accurately passed with each event.
ā¢ Validate Rich Pins: Confirm that our Rich Pins are correctly configured and pulling real-time product information from our Shopify store.
ā¢ Identify & Diagnose Issues: Pinpoint any discrepancies, errors, or areas where the tag might not be functioning as expected.
ā¢ Provide Clear Recommendations: Outline specific steps to fix identified issues and optimize the setup for maximum accuracy and performance.
ā¢ Test & Confirm Fixes: (If applicable) Verify that any recommended changes have been implemented correctly and resolved the identified problems.
Skills & Experience We're Looking For
ā¢ Proven expertise in Pinterest Ads and Pixel auditing/troubleshooting.
ā¢ Deep understanding of Shopify's platform and its integration points.
ā¢ Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex tracking issues.
ā¢ Familiarity with tools like the Pinterest Tag Helper and Pinterest Ads Manager reporting.
ā¢ Excellent communication skills to explain findings and recommendations clearly.
