Shopify Content Merchandiser/Product Page Specialist Needed
Project Goal: We are looking for a meticulous Shopify specialist to go deep into our catalog. We don't need a site redesign; we need someone to polish the individual customer experience on every product and collection page. You will ensure our products are perfectly categorized, accurately tagged, and strategically linked to drive "Buy Together" sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Product-Level Optimization: Review every product page to ensure descriptions are tailored, persuasive, and formatted for easy reading.
Strategic Categorization: Audit all collection pages to ensure every product is in its correct home and that the "Sort Order" makes sense for a browsing customer.
Manual Cross-Linking: Manually curate "Complete the Look" or "Buy Together" suggestions for products to ensure the recommendations are logical and helpful (not just random).
Tag & Filter Maintenance: Perform a deep-clean of product tags to ensure store filters work perfectly and that the tag hierarchy is consistent across the entire store.
Detail Check: Audit image sequences and technical specs to ensure the customer has all the info they need to click "Add to Cart."
Requirements:
Shopify Expert User: You must be intimately familiar with the Shopify admin (Products, Collections, and Navigation).
The "Merchandiserâs Eye": You understand which products naturally complement each other.
Extreme Attention to Detail: Youâre the type of person who notices a typo or a broken filter immediately.
Experience with Shopify Metafields: (Preferred) Ability to use metafields for specific product details or custom "Related Product" sections.
