Sheet Metal Fabrication Sales Representative – Territory NC, SC, VA, WV
Job Description:
• Partner with customers to boost productivity through advanced sheet metal fabrication applications.
• Demonstrate how Mate’s precision tooling and consumables can improve efficiency and performance.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing new opportunities.
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations and customer meetings (in-person and via teleconferencing).
• Develop and maintain a network of OEM dealers and industry contacts to expand reach.
• Track meetings, expenses, and customer interactions using CRM software.
• Stay current on new products, industry trends, and market conditions — and share valuable insights with management.
Requirements:
• Hands-on sheet metal fabrication or operations experience (punch presses, lasers, or press brakes required).
• Residence within the territory (North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia).
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight trips.
• Strong technical and communication skills — with the confidence to present, problem-solve, and close.
• Sales experience preferred (but your technical know-how is key!).
• A self-starter with integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED required.
