To learn more about Pearce visit . Your Impact Pearce Renewables is looking for Green Profiled Troubleshooting Travel Wind technician certified on SGRE Family 3 Platforms. Expected to be able to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, minor to medium repairs crane/non-crane related, design modifications/retrofits and special projects, all following technicians maintain certifications in all areas required by position. The position is 100% travel. Core Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on Wind Turbines. Calibrate and adjust turbine components to enhance performance. Conduct maintenance of equipment including resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions on the following WTGs: G114-2.5, G114-2.625, G126-2.5, G126-2.625, G132-3.3, G132-3.465, SG145-4.5, SG145-5.0) Diagnose problems involving wind turbine generators or control systems. Follow specific verbal and written instructions to perform Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) and associated equipment assembly, repair, and maintenance. Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records. Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements. Clean and organize tools, equipment, and work area including sweeping, mopping, wiping oil, grease, solvent spills. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience Twelve (12) months of related Wind Troubleshooting experience required. SBTT - Siemens Basic Technician Training (Green Profile) Siemens-Gamesa Renewable Energy Basic Technician Training certified – Family 3 C&T Gamesa Geared (incl. C&T DAC Converter) training completion Tower Rescue/ Tractel and SRK 11 Certifications preferred. Service reporting, work order documents, and records will be written neatly, legibly and completed correctly. Ability to read schematics. Physical/Work Environment Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet. Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance. Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds). Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grass.
