Servicing Support Specialist (REMOTE - Eastern Time Zone)
Job Description
What you'll do...
Ā Completes a daily review of assigned tasks and ensures completion within the designated turnaround times and compliant with company's policy and procedures.
Ā Reviews all requests related to missing payments and/or misapplied payments prior to submitting to the cashiering team for appropriate reversal and reallocation of funds in question.
Ā Reviews all payment refund related requests prior to submitting to the cashiering team for reversal and disbursement of funds.
Ā Reviews all late fee waiver requests prior to submitting to the cashiering team for removal of the assessed fees.
Ā Processes ACH (Auto Pay) enrollment, activation, changes, and cancelation requests.
Ā Collaborates daily with multiple internal departments to resolve servicing issues pertaining to any type of financial transactions on a loan.
Ā Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
What You'll Need
Ā Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
Ā Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently.
Ā Knowledge of relevant industry-specific software packages preferred.
Ā Analytical, detail oriented.
Ā Ability to interact with senior management.
Ā Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the department's credibility, operations, and services.
Ā Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term basis.
Ā Strong math skills. Balance and check results for accuracy.
Ā Ability to compose letters.
Ā Ability to express or change ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, audibly, and quickly.
Ā Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues and to negotiate and integrate different viewpoints.
Ā High school diploma or GED required. College education preferred but not required.
Ā Minimum of two (2) years related mortgage banking, and/or financial experience preferred.
