PUBG Madison is looking for an experienced Senior World Artist to join our team. As a Senior World Artist, youll be expected to build immersive and realistic landscapes in Unreal Engine 5. An understanding of gameplay and design is crucial.
As a Senior World Artist youll be tasked with sculpting the terrain and developing high-fidelity assets to support a believable and immersive world. If you have a deep passion for creating game environments that not only look exceptional but offer an outstanding gameplay experience, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Produce high-quality 3D rocks, plants, vistas and terrain assets according to design specs, technical requirements and project best practices.
Help to define the quality standards and visuals of world biomes.
Observe and define technical limitations and performance related to world art.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments and disciplines.
Provide feedback, share knowledge, and give advice to other artists.
Foster an inclusive and respectful culture of critique.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of real-time 3D experience in a related games position.
Experience with Unreal or other real-time 3D game engines.
Experience with World Machine, Gaea, or similar packages.
Proficiency with PCG, PBR and photogrammetry workflows.
Proficiency with DCC software such as Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, Substance.
