Compensation and Benefits
The pay range for this position is (69,000.00 - )124,200.00. Pay is based on various factors, including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. In addition to your pay, Target invests in you as a team member to help you care for your whole self and your family.

Skills
5+ years design experience in womenswear (preferably in Swim)
Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, XD (Adobe suite)
Strong understanding of fabric and garment construction
Innovative problem-solving and creative design abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
Responsibilities
Build seasonal collections based on global trends
Collaborate with the Design Director to manage the design process and calendar
Research and select materials/finishes for product development
Create sketches for product direction using Illustrator
Partner with Merchandising to maintain style counts according to line plans
Address product issues in collaboration with technical designers and sourcing partners
Qualifications
Four-year degree in Design
In-depth understanding of fabric and finishing
Strong aesthetic sense and ability to respond to market trends
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in Design or a related field.
