As a Senior UX Researcher, you will play a crucial role in driving the vision for our product suite, conducting client research, and collaborating with designers to create innovative and inclusive experiences for Amazonians. About the Role: The Senior UX Researcher will be responsible for developing and creating the vision for our cutting-edge product suite, owning all aspects of client research within the product development lifecycle, and collaborating with designers to identify research opportunities and convey client influence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX, product, and engineering, to drive functional excellence and deliver high-quality research that informs business decisions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct independent research of client experiences and gather and analyze client behavior through CSAT surveys and benchmark studies Collaborate with UX and product teams to identify research opportunities and focus on research questions based on analysis of current data, project objectives, and risks Advise on client research techniques and best practices, and work with designers, product managers, and engineers to prioritize and drive effective client experience research Integrate complex technical and business requirements into research and advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and in-person presentations Utilize best practices to create long-term research guides and opportunity roadmaps that align with and inform business processes and objectives A Day in the Life: As a Senior UX Researcher, you will autonomously own and lead research studies on critical drives for the organization, outline research best practices, and provide guidance to designers working with concentrates related to their project work. You will work with UX Designers to assist with directing the design and prototyping of new experiences ahead of the development plan and regularly interface with product managers to understand and direct the team's research needs. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in psychology, human-computer interaction, or a related field 4+ years of experience gathering data from clients to inform design and business decisions as a client experience researcher, client experience designer, or similar role A portfolio demonstrating past work experience and expectations (e.g., surveys, client study plans, research reports, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: End-to-end experience with all aspects of research (study design, execution, analysis, reporting) Hands-on experience with remote testing, iterative prototype testing, survey design, and utilization of various methods within a study Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with designers, product managers, and engineers for idea generation and assembling requirements What's Next?
