Profile Overview
This is a critical, tax-operations-focused role in our Central Finance team that manages accounting, controlling, and legal functions across a growing group of 15+ international entities. You will report to our Director of Accounting & Tax and own all aspects of tax compliance and operational accounting for several entities.
In your daily work you will interact with our CFO, Controlling Team, external tax advisors, and the managing directors of many of our portfolio brands. You will be the operational engine behind our 2026 Central Accounting Goals - driving tax compliance software implementation, US tax nexus frameworks, transfer pricing model execution, and AI-powered workflow automation within our ERP NetSuite.

Your Responsibilities
Tax Operations & Compliance
Own end-to-end US tax compliance: sales tax, payroll tax, and corporate income tax (CIT) across all US entities, including nexus assessment and taxability determination
Lead the implementation and ongoing management of tax compliance software integrated with NetSuite, ensuring automated tax calculation, filing, and reporting
Build and maintain the US Tax Nexus Compliance Framework: conduct economic nexus assessments, monitor state-level thresholds, and manage registration and filing obligations
Support the Transfer Pricing Model Implementation, and document transfer pricing policies between our Delaware parent and European subsidiaries
Prepare and file VAT, sales tax, and GST returns
Act as primary liaison with external tax advisors and auditors on US and international tax matters - coordinate engagements, review deliverables, and challenge advisory fees and scope using AI-verified research
Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including calculation of current and deferred income tax expense (benefit) for all US and international entities
Maintain the deferred tax roll-forward schedule: identify and document temporary differences between book (GAAP) and tax basis of assets and liabilities, compute deferred tax assets (DTAs) and deferred tax liabilities (DTLs), and assess the need for valuation allowances
Coordinate with external auditors on income tax provision workpapers, supporting schedules, and tax footnotes; serve as the primary contact for all ASC 740-related audit inquiries
Support the FY26 US GAAP Conversion & Audit Readiness initiative by building the tax provision framework, establishing opening deferred tax balances, and documenting tax accounting policies for the groupâs first US GAAP financial statements
Accounting & Reporting
Oversee all aspects of operational accounting for assigned entities: billing, general ledger, payroll, AP, AR, and revenue recognition within NetSuite
Maintain general ledger reconciliations with adequate documentation for all balance sheet accounts
Deliver financial reporting, analysis, and commentary for your portfolio; support consolidation and monthly group reporting
Support annual financial statements and statutory audits
What You Bring to the Table
Must-Have Requirements
Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (CPA strongly preferred) and at least 5 yearsâ experience in US tax and accounting roles
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with NetSuite
Experience with tax compliance software (Avalara, Vertex, or equivalent)
Experience working with external tax advisors on US and international tax matters
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with hands-on experience in income tax accounting under ASC 740 (tax provisions, deferred tax assets/liabilities, valuation allowances, and effective tax rate reconciliation)
Prior work experience at a SaaS, Software, or technology company with multi-entity structures
Nice-to-Have
Experience with transfer pricing documentation
Familiarity with Stripe, Chargebee, or other SaaS billing/revenue recognition tools
Experience with tax provision software (ONESOURCE Tax Provision, Bloomberg Tax Provision, Longview, or equivalent)
Experience with multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional tax provisions in an acquisition-heavy environment
Working Style
