Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Virginia, USA. As a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering actionable intelligence to clients' security or operational environments to drive navigation and specific action. You will also serve as a conductor to Mandiant's extensive network of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and information operations experts.
Key Responsibilities
Connect knowledge to foster a comprehensive understanding of tracked threat activity
Perform strategic, operational, and functional research and analysis of adversarial cyber threats and groups
Assess current and emerging tools and best practices for tracking advanced threats, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of attackers' motivations, industry, and threat trends
Design and deliver briefings and reports to clients' executives, security teams, or individual practitioners
Present tactical and strategic intelligence about threat groups, the tactics they use, and the motivations driving their activity, and convey the significance of findings to various audiences
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
At least 2 years of experience in a digital threat intelligence role in a client-facing environment
Experience in CTI techniques and applications in one of the functional areas: Identify, Secure, Respond, or Recover
Experience in stakeholder management, driving, presenting to, and reporting to various audiences, including executives
US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with polygraph
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the utilization, handling, and analysis of tactical (technical) CTI within a functional environment, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities
Understanding of CTI techniques and application concepts, with the ability to advise and guide new CTI colleagues
Ability to relate raw intelligence from sensors, incident response engagement, and other sources into reports and briefings
Ability to present written or verbal information to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to take complex, ambiguous topics, assemble methodology, and influence stakeholders
Excellent team player with the ability to work in fast-paced and constantly evolving environments
