Senior Tax & Accounting Manager CPA
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in public accounting
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for Individuals, S & C-Corporations, Consolidated C-Corporations, Partnerships, LLCs, Trusts, Estates and Non-Profit entities.
Ability to perform compilation and review engagements including preparation of financial statements and reports.
Perform advanced level tax research projects and compose comprehensive memoranda.
Apply functional knowledge to understand potential tax issues and participate in tax planning.
Deliver high quality tax service and advice when contacting and advising clients.
Work independently as well as within a team, and multi-task several projects efficiently.
Act as project manager for special projects at the request of the management team.
Manage, mentor, and train staff associates within the practice.
Develop and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other client deliverables as needed.
Participate in networking and business development activities on behalf of the firm.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Further Requirements and Information:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, or related field.
5+ years of Tax experience in public accounting.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or current candidate.
USA work authorization
Proficient with tax preparation and workflow software including Prosystem fx Tax (Preferred), Sage/Peachtree, QuickBooks Online, strong Excel skills.
Proficient with tax research software including BNA.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Strong research and oral and written communication skills, and ability to articulate complex information.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and manage your client service team.
Ability to consistently exercise good judgment in dealing with a variety of situations and issues.
