This role will be onsite in Colorado Springs, Colorado, 3 days a week. A Secret clearance is required. IBM is searching for a Systems Administrator (Senior) to support the United States Space Force (USSF)/Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch for rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space-based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: supporting, designing, maintaining, and monitoring internal and external networks; implementing and managing all systems, applications, security, and network configurations; resolving network performance issues and establishing a disaster recovery plan; recommending upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment; and providing technical support and guidance to users. This position will require privileged access and DODM 8570.01M restrictions will apply.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 6 years' related professional experience; Or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 4 years' related professional experience.

Must have IAT Level I certification.

DoD Secret clearance required.
Nice-to-haves
Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command.
