About This Role
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist at arenaflex, you'll serve as a critical partner to business stakeholders across the organization, making intelligent sourcing decisions that maximize the value of our $1B+ annual professional services spend. You'll be the connective tissue that brings different segments together, creating broader opportunities than what's possible at the individual business unit level.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing cost and contractual arrangements through competitive bids and agreement negotiations. Your daily activities will include:
Strategic Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships with key executives across all business segments, advising on market engagement strategies to identify the best vendor partners
Deal Leadership: Lead complex deal negotiations and assist in optimizing cross-segment vendor relationships that drive maximum value for the organization
RFP Management: Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes for professional services in accordance with arenaflex policies and procedures
Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate providers and experts based on predetermined selection criteria, analyzing bids based on total cost of ownership and delivery to identify opportunities for optimal value
Negotiation Excellence: Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiation strategies utilizing proven Strategic Sourcing methodology to achieve favorable outcomes
Contract Administration: Prepare and execute contracts while performing post-award administration to ensure ongoing compliance and performance
Performance Management: Understand and assist in developing and executing performance management programs with providers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness
Compliance Assurance: Ensure full compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and industry best practices
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate and report to management on the status of any significant external relationships that could affect planning and decision-making
Market Analysis: Analyze industry trends and situations that affect both internal stakeholders and external vendors and/or pricing
Continuous Learning: Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices
Ethical Leadership: Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all business dealings
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Experience: 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a minimum of 2 years in services category sourcing
Relationship Building: Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels, from entry-level staff to C-suite executives
Strategic Agility: Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to see the big picture and anticipate future challenges and opportunities
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis, cost modeling, and financial justification

Deep understanding of Sourcing & Procurement processes and best practices
Familiarity with basic legal terms and conditions used in commercial agreements
Knowledge of entertainment industry trends and market dynamics
Demonstrated proficiency with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements
Proven experience drafting and executing professional services agreements
Experience working with legal departments on topics regarding boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions
