Senior Staff Accountant - Hybrid Remote Role

The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in the Accounting Department and will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger accounting, month end close, and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with month-end close process including preparation of journal entries, general ledgers, and other related work papers.
Support annual internal and external financials and audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, financial statements and footnotes.
Assist with special projects (testing system enhancements and establishing new account reconciliations).
Assist with daily cash projections and reconciling of cash credit sales, and gift card reconciliations.
Support management team with ad hoc requests.
Qualifications:
3 years of corporate or Public Accounting Experience.
CPA license Preferred
BS/BA in related field is required. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP required.
Experience in cash reconciliations, credit card reconciliation, and gift card reconciliations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
