Senior SRE - Platform

Full time - London or Paris Hybrid or remote from UK/EUAs a Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Platform at Kiln, you'll join our Infrastructure team (10 engineers) to build robust and scalable cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with Protocol, Smart Contract and Software Engineering teams to create tools and environments that ensure fast, secure, and reliable software delivery. This role reports to the Head of Infrastructure and plays a key part in scaling Kiln’s core platform.Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, multi-cloud & bare metal infrastructureBuild internal tools and platforms to streamline development workflowsEnsure high service reliability, uptime, and smooth inter-service communicationMaintain strong infrastructure security practices and compliance (SOC 2)Improve observability, alerting, and performance monitoringGuide architectural decisions and promote infrastructure best practicesCollaborate with teams to assess risk and ensure robust deliveryStack:Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, bare metal, Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, Prometheus, Thanos, Helm, Hashicorp Vault, FluxCDSoftware: Golang, Typescript, PHP, PostgreSQL, SolidityTooling: GitHub Actions, Grafana, GitOps CI/CD pipelinesRequirements:5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering in high-standard environments (FinTech a plus)Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestrationProficiency in Terraform/Terragrunt and Helm for IaC and automationFamiliar with Prometheus/PromQL and observability toolingExperience with secure infrastructure management (e.g. Vault, KMS)Clear and confident in technical decision-making and collaborationFluent in French and English (all written communication is in English)Nice-to-have:Experience building internal developer platformsFamiliarity with high-availability systems at scaleExperience designing, building and deploying user-facing, and/or API-based products.Previous work in SOC2, ISO 27001, or other certified environmentsExperience with data tooling (BigQuery, Airbyte, DBT, ….)About Kiln:Kiln is the leading enterprise-grade rewards platform that enables institutional customers to stake assets and integrate staking & DeFi functionality into their offerings.
