Senior SQA Test Engineer

Job Description: • Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing. • Lead the testing efforts and coordinate with team members for effective test coverage. • Perform manual and automated testing of applications and APIs, ensuring compliance with business requirements. • Analyze test results, report defects, and track issues to resolution using defect tracking tools. • Collaborate with developers to understand application architecture and identify testing needs. • Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on potential testability and quality concerns. • Mentor junior testers and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization. • Continuously improve testing methodologies and practices based on industry trends. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with 7+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience • Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Software Quality Assurance life cycle (STLC) • Moderate back-end Software Quality Assurance experience • Experience with fundamentals of programming • Understanding of SharePoint applications, Webex, Skype, etc. • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio, with a working knowledge of the rest of the Microsoft Office suite of applications • Knowledge of defect management tools (such as Jira) • Knowledge and moderate understanding of Unix commands • Knowledge of database tools (such as Oracle, SQL Server, TOAD) • Strong SQL skills Benefits: Apply tot his job
