Job Description:Lead the architecture and design of scalable Power Platform solutions across multiple departmental initiatives.Provide governance and best practices for PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI deployments.Collaborate with department leadership to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Oversee integration with existing data sources, including SQL databases, SharePoint, and legacy systems.Designs enterprise architectures including but not limited to Azure cloud deployments, improved ETL processes, and enhanced data storage.Manages cloud resources, metrics, logs, load balancers, etc.Designs solutions within the PPD Enterprise GIS environment to support PPD business requirements, fit technology stack and operating environments.Work Activities:Gather and document requirements from stakeholdersTranslate business needs into technical specificationsDesign scalable Power Platform architectureDevelop and deploy PowerApps (canvas/model-driven)Build and maintain automated workflows in Power AutomateEnsure data integration with existing systems (SQL, SharePoint, etc.)Define and implement security and governance policiesDevelop custom connectors or componentsConduct testing and quality assurance of apps and flowsProvide user support and technical troubleshootingConduct stakeholder reviews and feedback sessionsMonitor and maintain operational flows and app performanceCreate user guides, documentation, and training materialsEnsure accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and usability of PowerAppsDesign and implement KPIs and performance indicators in Power BIManage versioning, deployments, and release schedulesConduct regular team meetings and project updatesAdhere to data privacy and compliance standardsRequired Skills:Deep understanding of Power Platform and Microsoft Azure cloud environment: PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, and DataverseProficiency with solution design, data modeling, application lifecycle management, and governanceAbility to define architecture for scalable, secure, and maintainable applications Knowledge of integration patterns with Azure, SQL Server, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and thirdparty APIs such as ArcGISExpertise in CJIS and Microsoft security and compliance (role-based access control, DLP, auditing)Strong documentation and diagramming skills (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)Required Experience:5+ years of experience architecting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Azure cloud environment8+ years of IT experience in application development, enterprise systems, or cloud architectureExperience designing solutions for highly regulated environments (e.g., criminal justice, public safety)Familiarity with CJIS compliance or similar law enforcement data privacy frameworksExperience mentoring developers and setting technical standards for a team"If you are: bright, motivated, skilled, a difference-maker, able to get things done, work with minimum direction, enthusiastic, a thinker, able to juggle and multi-task, communicate effectively, and lead, then we would like to hear from you.
