What You’ll Do Lead the full software development lifecycle—from design and coding to deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability across our systems. Gather requirements, estimate scope, and create robust design specifications in close partnership with stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and architects, to ensure seamless integration and successful project outcomes. Design and implement comprehensive automated testing strategies, ensuring product quality and security. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical growth. Tackle complex technical challenges and provide expert support for production applications. Champion best practices in code review, source control, and agile methodologies. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred. 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a track record of leading teams or projects. Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C++). Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and database management (SQL/NoSQL). Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern development tools/frameworks. Strong background in automated testing, debugging, and ensuring code quality. Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with a collaborative and proactive mindset. Our Senior Software Engineering, earns between $130,700 - 196,100 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
