Our scope includes the Lambda website, cloud APIs and systems as well as internal tooling for system deployment, management and maintenance.What you’ll DoJoin a team of industry-leading experts and work alongside the best minds in the fieldCollaborate with top-tier professionals who are shaping the future of the industryDesign and build foundational Linux security features and infrastructure that protect AI/ML workloads running across thousands of GPUs on modern cloud platformsDevelop security capabilities for containerized and virtualized environments, including secure boot, system hardening, kernel integrity monitoring, and isolation technologiesYouLinux Security Expertise – 8+ years of experience with Linux-based production systems, with a strong focus on security at the OS and kernel level (e.g., SELinux, AppArmor, seccomp, namespaces, cgroups, integrity measurement, and TPM).Kernel & Hardening – Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals and experience securing kernel subsystems (e.g., syscall filtering, LSMs, audit frameworks, eBPF for security observability).Cloud & Infrastructure Security – Experience building or securing core cloud infrastructure (e.g., secure virtualization/KVM/QEMU, hardened images, secure boot, confidential computing, software-defined perimeter, network segmentation, firewalling, identity and access management).Security Architecture – Ability to design and implement end-to-end security architectures for large-scale, distributed systems. Familiarity with threat modeling, risk analysis, and mitigation planning for both x86_64 and aarch64 platforms.Programming Languages – Strong background in C with experience writing secure, high-performance code. Familiarity with Rust, Python, and Go is a plus.
