As a Senior Software Backend Engineer ,part of the FinTech Engineering Team, you will play the Senior Engineer role in our mission to build our world class Payments and Finance Operations platform with our business stakeholders aimed at enhancing customer’s cash flow and Bring Innovative Tech solutions to improve Accounting and Payments Processes.What You’ll Do:Design and develop world class Finance operations and Payments Platforms with help of Engineering Leaders and highly motivated teams with Business consciousness. Lead technical decisions, projects within the Fin Tech Team. You will shape and own Nivoda Fin Tech solutions for managing and serving payments and Accounting operations.Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define Backend technical requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines throughout the development lifecycle.Debug and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely support to internal teams and external customers.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize customer requirements and feedback.Mentor junior developers and improve the quality of engineering work in the broader teamYour qualifications and experience:A minimum of 5+ years of experience in backend development with NodeJS and any RDBMS language like Postgres and knowledge in NoSQL Datastores.Strong proficiency in JavaScript-based backend platforms and libraries, including Vanilla JavaScript, Node.js, and Postgres databases.Solid understanding of system design and architectural patterns.Experience in ERP Softwares , Account Receivables , Payables Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Willingness to learn and adapt to multiple tools and technologies.Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Engineering.Prior Experience in building Underwriting/Risk or Credit decision platforms would be a bonus.What we offerDynamic working environment in a rapidly growing company.Enjoy a pleasant, low-hierarchy work environment.Engage in intellectually challenging work that contributes significantly to Nivoda’s success and scalability.Flexible working hours and a vibrant company culture.Plenty of opportunities for growth and learning.Unlimited holiday allowance.Chance to join and contribute to a company during its exponential expansion phase.
