Senior Quality Assurance Engineer and Analyst
Stack Influence is a VC-funded creator marketplace app connecting eCommerce brands with everyday social media users. We are a high-growth, remote-first startup.
You will report directly to the CTO on a small product and engineering team. We are looking for a hybrid, technical analyst that can understand and test a modern Javascript codebase while also performing business analyst duties.
Salary is between $75-100k USD with equity potential.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers, developers and designers to gather and define requirements and test plans.Write detailed requirements documents and test plans covering end-to-end, integration, and exploratory testing. Own and execute manual testing processes while working with software engineers to streamline test efforts.Analyze test results to identify root causes of issues, reproduce bugs using debugging tools and local development environments. Provide remediation recommendations.Maintain and update test cases as systems evolve to ensure thorough and accurate coverage.Assess how changes impact user workflows, anticipate potential pain points, and suggest enhancements or workarounds to improve product usability.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a focus on manually testing web applications.Exceptional writing skills, capable of producing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases, bug reports, and documentation.Proficient with database systems, including writing SQL queries to validate data integrity.Working knowledge of JavaScript to facilitate testing and to understand the underlying code behavior.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
