About the Role As a Senior Proposal Specialist at Abt Global, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, security, and integrity of all proposal volumes, with a specific focus on Cost and Business Volumes. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving the proposal development process, from assessing requirements to submitting the final document. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure a cohesive, integrated, and well-coordinated proposal that meets the evolving needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities Lead all administrative aspects of proposal development, ensuring the quality, security, and integrity of all proposal volumes, with a specific focus on Cost and Business Volumes. Assess proposal requirements, identify potential challenges, and break down complex information into manageable components. Be flexible and adaptable to changes in proposal requirements, adjusting strategies and content as needed to meet evolving needs. Identify and escalate risks related to solution alignment across volumes and collaborate across the organization to ensure a cohesive proposal. Facilitate effective and direct communication with all stakeholders involved in the proposal development process to ensure quick action and results. Perform skilled information management and research, proficiently administering the proposal SharePoint site and compiling background research documents as needed. Coordinate internal flow and review of proposal inputs, manage schedules, track and drive resolution of team actions, and direct the submission of the final document master proposal to production. Support the proposal manager in managing response development schedules, coordinating meetings, documenting meeting notes, and tracking actions efficiently. Develop innovative solutions and enhance the quality of proposals by utilizing available resources, including industry knowledge, templates, and past experiences. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must have: A Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. 8+ years of experience in developing proposals for US Government Federal Civilian clients, specifically USAID, EPA, Dept. of Labor, HHS, or HUD. A strong understanding of US Government procurement and contracting regulations and the ability to apply those requirements to final proposal submissions. Demonstrated experience in successfully coordinating proposal development efforts for US Federal Civilian agencies, including USAID. Proven ability in driving integration across all Proposal Volumes (Technical, Management, and Business/Cost). Proficiency in the use of SharePoint and/or Microsoft Teams. Knowledge of and ability to apply the Shipley-based proposal development process. US work authorization with no sponsorship required. Preferred Qualifications To stand out as a candidate, you should have: Experience bidding for USAID contracts and cooperative agreements. APMP certification.
