Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Splunk Platform Center of Excellence Product Management team. This candidate has several years of Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud Platform experience with emphasis on go to market lifecycle engagement. You are adept at interacting and partnering with sales, marketing, professional services and support teams. You are organized, positive, and passionate about working in a rapidly changing environment. Are you up for the challenge!

What You'll Get To Do

You will operate as a primary touch point for go to market teams into Splunk’s product organization. In addition, you will drive Splunk’s business unit quarterly objectives around incremental and recurring revenue by partnering with strategic account teams to drive successful business close. You will own regular reporting of KPIs tied to quarterly objectives. You will work directly with key decision makers of the business to improve alignment and drive growth. The ability to clearly articulate and prioritize customer requirements to internal Splunk product teams, and directly partner with go to market teams will be essential to success in this role.

Must-have Qualifications

You have 3-5 years of product management experience with emphasis on go to market strategy and execution

You have understanding of operational aspects of delivering Splunk environments, whether on-premise or in public clouds

You thrive working in a fast paced cross functional team spanning products and go to market

You have shown the ability to lead without authority plus to comfortably articulate your requirements via verbal and written communication skills

You enjoy engaging with customers on business and operational topics.

Growth mentality conducive with a dynamic, innovative, and congenial work culture

Bachelor’s degree; MBA or similar degree highly preferred

Note:

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $159,200.00 - 218,900.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $143,280.00 - 197,010.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $127,360.00 - 175,120.00 per year

Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location. Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
