Senior Processor - Bilingual Spanish
Position Summary:
The Senior Processor obtains and prepares loan documents, credit documents, appraisals, etc., to complete loan files. Maintains and updates records and files for processing of each loan; verifies for accuracy and completeness; performs data entry. May prepare credit reports and/or purchase contracts.
This position offers an hourly base plus a per file bonus.
Essential Job Functions:
Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ā Carry pipeline 25-45 loans.
Ā Review new files within 24-48 hours.
Ā Close every loan on Time.
Ā Order all verifications, appraisals, title work, FHA case numbers.
Ā Develop and maintain knowledge and comply with company policy and secondary market requirements pertaining to credit/security standards and regulatory requirements relative to conventional, government and self-employed loans requirements.
Ā Stay abreast of changes in policies, standards and regulations applicable to work unit.
Ā Understand and apply local, state, and federal regulations relating to processing mortgage loans.
Ā Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely, objective and confidential manner.
Ā Advanced knowledge of complex mortgage loan processing and associated documentation and underwriting guidelines required.
Ā Act as trouble-shooter for problem loans, interacting between Loan Originators, client, and lender.
Ā Log new loans.
Ā Review 1003 for accuracy.
Ā Prepare stipulation file/requirements and reviewing with Loan Originator.
Ā Follow up to ensure Statement of Credit Denial letters issued.
Ā Prepare and distribute aging reports to Originators.
Ā Pre-underwrite all loans to ensure proper supporting documentation.
Ā Coordinate and distribute lender and underwriting changes.
Ā Request routine additional documentation from loan customer.
Ā Collect, submit and clear ALL underwriting and ALL funding conditions.
Ā Coordinate closing date and location between Loan Originator, lender, and closing agent.
Ā Review HUD prior to closing.
Ā Ensure proper timelines and follow up procedures are adhered to with loans in Prospect list and Pipeline list.
Ā All changes in lenders and programs by lenders must be approved by Director of Operations prior to changes.

Ā Identify and follow through on solutions for problems or potential problems with staff, cleanliness of office, orders, flow of customers and visitors, as well as problems with computers and software.
Ā Verify confidentiality is secure by keeping drawers and sensitive information in locked drawers/cabinets.
Ā Effectively communicate, work with, and build relationships with all levels of constituents including culturally and linguistically diverse staff members and external candidates and/or vendors, while operating in a fast-paced customer service driven environment.
Ā This position may require occasional overtime and travel.
Ā Additional tasks as assigned.
