Senior Planner / Analyst - Supply Chain

We ship weekly nationwide. This is a contract role with the opportunity to convert to salaried following a 6 month trial period. We are searching for a talented Senior Planner/Analyst to partner with teams across Operations to drive financial and strategic insight through deep goal-oriented analysis and long-range planning. You’ll be at the heart of the business, helping to deliver on our mission to be the global nutrition leader that gets you back into shape. To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. A successful candidate should have deep experience in forecasting and inventory planning, and have a passion for analytics. Responsibilities • Manage short, medium, and long range demand forecasting to drive overall operating performance and support supply chain decision-making • Effectively and efficiently manage the weekly inventory buying and planning recommendations for all supply chain partners including co-packers (food), packaging suppliers, 3PLs, carriers, and commodity suppliers. • Drive the development and use of tools and processes that support key objectives such as demand, supply, and capacity planning, inventory modeling, service and revenue forecasting, plan optimization, and gap analysis. • Drive sales mix modeling by monitoring order characteristics and making forecast and business recommendations. • Partner with Product Development/Culinary to establish procurement and sourcing analytics for co-packers, commodities, and carriers including market benchmarking. • Support fulfillment network optimization by optimizing inventory flow across multiple locations and product groups in order to maximize fill rates, minimize inventory, and minimize total supply chain costs • Partner with Finance in the development of COGS and margin modeling, budgeting, and financial planning. • Partner with the Technology Team to develop forecasting, planning, and order management methods necessary to support the supply planning and operational needs of the business. • Help drive future ERP implementation with the technology team to develop and leverage technology solutions that improve planning performance • Develop and maintain KPIs for: • Forecast accuracy / MAPE • Inventory velocity (turns, weeks of supply, aging, waste, etc) • Inventory Fill rates • Copacker performance measurements (OTIF) • COGS analytics (margin attainment) • 3PL + Carrier performance measurements (OTIF, OTD) • All other duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a data intensive position – preferably in Forecasting, Inventory Planning (DRP, MRP), Supply Chain or operations. • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, economics, mathematics or other relevant fields. • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel. VBA and SQL a plus. • Experience with inventory, MRP, replenishment planning systems and process (ERP/DRP/MRP/S&OP). • Preferably have experience with Tableau (or equivalent) and JavaScript – understanding of basic statistical analysis and experience with Python or R. • APICS/CPIM certification is preferred. • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge • Experience in e-commerce and perishable products • Capability to multitask in a fast paced environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Location: Remote • Work authorization: United States (Required) Trifecta, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
