Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for the Plane Health Management (AHM) program, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Serve as a change agent, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Production, Maintenance Control, Field Tech, Engineering, and Flight Operations, to identify new requirements and opportunities for AHM data. Develop and implement custom training programs for internal clients, enhancing their understanding of AHM capabilities and benefits. Analyze program results, reporting on overall effectiveness and recommending improvements to optimize fleet safety, reliability, and efficiency. Guide the program's expansion to a larger fleet and integration of new aircraft capabilities. Create and deliver educational content to promote awareness and understanding of the AHM program across the organization. Represent Southwest Airlines in industry forums, conferences, and meetings, staying current with regulatory and business developments. Travel up to 20-25% to attend industry events, meetings, and conferences. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, aviation, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft health management, maintenance, or a related field. Strong technical and analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Proven leadership and change management skills, with experience in driving innovation and improvement. U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a relevant field. Professional certifications, such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Aviation Safety Manager (CASM). Experience with aircraft health management systems and software. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Skills and Competencies Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
