We are specifically seeking someone with 7+ years of experience in the nuclear industry, with deep, hands-on expertise using CASMO/SIMULATE. Additionally, the ideal candidate would be adaptable, collaborative, and open to interim solutions-recognizing that our path to the optimal design will evolve over time.
We're looking for a candidate who is not only familiar with core design, CASMO, and SIMULATE but also someone who has hands-on experience with the codes and is ready to contribute to the analysis process immediately after being onboarded and acclimated to the project.
I recommend focusing on candidates with more recent and relevant PWR experience.
We need someone who can actively contribute to analysis and calculations, not just provide consultationKnock out questions:When was the last time they used Casmo/Simulate? Or any of the CMS5?How do you rank your proficiency with this code?
Familiar, basic skills, moderate, or proficient (ideally want proficient but okay with moderate)
What type of involvement in the analysis were you doing? Performing or just reviewing?
