Senior Consultant – Change Management

Job Description: • Participate directly in client engagements, providing expert insights and ensuring projects run seamlessly from start to finish • Engagements include developing change management approaches and strategies; designing and implementing organizational changes to roles, responsibilities, or reporting relationships; leadership development; and HR Excellence initiatives • Lead, facilitate, and participate in client project meetings while providing a unique point of view from the OE perspective • Participate in proposal development and delivery to client organizations • Apply expertise by monitoring and identifying project issues, mitigating risk, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of work • Confidently manage project teams, deliver structure where there is ambiguity, resolve stakeholder resistance and risks, and implement the desired outcomes • Work closely with diverse teams to deliver results and foster an environment to recognize and reward individual and team achievements • Present findings both internally at Wavestone and externally to clients, including data acquisition and insights • Collaborate with an internal network of skilled consultants to solve client problems and deliver high impact projects • Continually evolve and build a knowledge base (emergent trends, technologies, and approaches) within the area of Organizational Effectiveness/Change management • Cultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients to identify collaborative efforts and develop new business engagement opportunities Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a variety of disciplines to include Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, or related fields • Master’s degree preferred • 3 or more years of business consulting experience including a hands-on involvement in change management activities such as communications, stakeholder engagement and adoption support • Experience in a variety of business projects such as business integration, organizational change, brand/digital marketing, new product launches, mergers & acquisitions, or system integrations • Project management experience leading projects and managing project teams • Solid understanding of organizational effectiveness principles to manage projects and implement changes on commercial engagements, but also possess the breadth, desire, and ability to work on non-OE projects as well • Well-developed financial and business acumen from working in a variety of business functions including supply chain, finance, operations, HR, marketing, and sales • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies • Expertise in multiple project management tools • Passion for identifying problems and the desire to collaborate with clients in designing and implementing simple solutions in complex and unclear situations • Leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional project teams • Demonstrated strategic big picture thinking paired with the ability to pivot and deep dive into the details as required • Expertise in Microsoft Office products including the ability to develop compelling communication of complex concepts using PowerPoint • Confidence and presence to engage directly with clients at the senior leadership level • Strong written and oral communications skills including the ability to communicate concisely and clearly with both line and senior management level clients • Ability to travel based on client requirements Benefits: • Medical / Dental / Vision coverage • Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA • Employer Paid disability and life insurance • Short-term & Long-term Disability • Term life and AD&D • Voluntary life insurances • Critical Illness and Accident insurances • 401(k) retirement plan - Traditional 401(k) & Roth 401(k) • 30 Days of flexible paid time off (accrued monthly) • Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) • Ability to participate in the company ESOP plan Apply tot his job
